By launching the first international certificate of sustainability knowledge, Sulitest aims to create a lever for systemic change that will make sustainability the common language for all.

The development of TASK™ took place over 1 year, including as many stakeholders as possible. In addition to the internal Sulitest team, a "TASK Force" composed of experts and researchers worked on the technical characteristics of the assessment and its platform.
The R&D committee committee supported this development by ensuring the consistency of decisions made by the operational teams. Finally, a team of external writers (experts and researchers on sustainability issues) participated in the creation of the assessment content: the questions/answers and their alignment with the TASK™ knowledge domain.

Defining our sustainability knowledge domain required mobilizing relevant scientific literature and existing approaches and frameworks for sustainability. Sulitest surrounded itself with a"TASK Force" composed of academics and sustainability professionals as well as an assembly of stakeholders, the "Fellowsto document and ensure the coherence of the work. This process required making choices to position our tools and actions in the fields of sustainability and sustainability education, which allowed us to build our own knowledge model reflecting our vision of sustainability.

Different sources of inspiration
By design, TASK™ aims to be consistent with existing frameworks in the field of education for sustainability, such as the UNESCO SDG education learning objectives, the European GreenComp sustainability competency framework or the reference framework of the report led by Jean Jouzel for the French Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation "Raising Awareness and Training for the Challenges of the Ecological Transition in Higher Education".

This approach builds on the framework developed by the Stockholm Resilience Institute, which identifies nine planetary boundaries that govern the stability and resilience of the Earth system. This approach falls under the school of thought that the role of humanity, society, and the economy must fit within the Earth's systems and its physical boundaries.
